I've been writing or trying to write or staring blankly at the computer, depending on your view of it, forever now. Due to a personally devastating case of medical mismanagement, the eventual long-term fallout, ironically enough, is some memory issues and a mild form of aphasia, making words, which used to readily spill out, take up residence just out of my reach. I have the utmost sympathy for Gibbs with his Swiss-cheese memory now and, perhaps, something of a frame of reference. ~=b

With that said, I was recently asked about my intended sequel to Memories of Me. I've jumped back into trying to write recently and have made some headway on Recalled to Duty and its sequel, Lost in the Part, as well as my Gibbs meets Tony story, The Fox and the Hound, and End Game, a team loyalty fic. Unfortunately, I don't have a timeline for any of them, nor the story I owe taylorgibbs, but it seems to be coming easier the more I just let the muses loose and do some Timmy-style freewriting as a form of therapy as opposed to forcing results.  Hopefully, sooner than later? My hope is to have at least one of them done by the end of the year.

Last week, while watching "Thirst" with everyone at gibbs_dinozzo, I posted a comment fic - my first, and most definitely not last, slash. After some encouragement following the first comment, it got very out of hand, and before I knew it, it was a wee ficlet - full of pure, playful smut. It's been very frustrating having so much trapped right at the tip of my tongue, so that snippet was a breath of very fresh air. Believe me, it's better than it was a few months ago[you know you're in trouble when you get lost driving to your weekly Dr visit and can't verbalize/write relatively basic words you've used for years] I've been trying to write a sentence or two when the spirit moves and it seems to be coming a bit easier the more I do it. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the support! And keep writing yourself! You've been keeping me very much entertained while I was recovering!!! ♥

LOLOL re: Second Chances. Yeah, I know, I should really write the next chapter. *hangs head in shame* I'll see what I can do! :)

And there are tons of other stories waiting to be written, so never fear. *g* Just posted a Halloween-themed fic, and will probably be inspired as all hell by today's/tomorrow's new ep, and there's this huge AU epic that I really need to finish... :)

You just go and concentrate on getting better (and maybe play with your muse again soon-ish? *hopeful look*)! :D
